Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller
He briefly visited the academy of arts in Vienna, had to finance later, nevertheless, his life with the time of portraits. In 1811 he got a job as an art teacher for the children of count Gyulay in Croatia. After 3 years he returned to Vienna and started improving his skills, while he copied the works of old masters. Ferdinand Waldmüller was interested later in the nature and started in such a way painting sceneries (genre painting). His noteworthiest work lies in the picture of the nature where his feeling for colours and big knowledge of the nature helped him to reach masterly skills. In 1823 he painted a portrait Ludwig van Beethoven. He was a professor in the academy of arts Vienna, nevertheless, had some quarrel with the Viennese establishment, mostly in particular for his comments to the system of the academy where he wanted to use a focus of the study on the nature.
